What is L Asparaginase 

Asparaginase is a drug that selectively inhibits tumor cells. Cancer cells cannot synthesize asparagine, which is essential for growth. They must rely on the host supply. This product can hydrolyze asparagine and make cancer cells lack asparagine, thus inhibiting growth. Normal cells are less affected because they can synthesize asparagine by themselves.
 

Asparaginase is an enzyme preparation derived from E. coli, a cyclically specific anticarbonic drug that hydrolyzes the serum of asparagine into aspartic acid, an amino acid essential for cell protein synthesis and proliferation. Normal cells have their own synthesis function of amino acid, and tumor cells such as acute leukemia, no this function, so when using this product to make the door is missing sharply amino acid, the tumor cells by both neither can get enough from the blood of amino acid, also can not own synthesis, to make the protein synthesis by the obstacle, the proliferation inhibition, much damage cells, rather than growth, survival, reach the role of anti-tumor. This product can also interfere with cell DNA and RNA synthesis, and may act on cell G1 proliferation cycle, as a cell cycle specific drug to inhibit cell division in this period.
